The Service of Light is a Christian liturgical rite, most notably the opening of the Great Vigil of Easter, symbolizing Christ as the Light of the World overcoming darkness.

Our Patron Saint, Catherine of Siena’s, feast day is April 29. It would be wonderful if all our parish could honor her by praying the Novena to St. Catherine of Siena, which begins tomorrow, April 20th.
